New home construction, real estate development and commercial construction have been a Harris family business since its beginning in the Detroit, Michigan area in 1954. 
In 1974 Clarence & Mickey Harris, founders of the original business, moved the business, the family and their base of operations to Lake Havasu City, AZ to help with the building of the new community of Lake Havasu City.

Jim Harris, President and owner of Advanced Homes, Inc., Advanced Construction Co., Inc. and Broker/Owner of Advanced Real Estate Company is also the licensee for the residential, commercial, general engineering and real estate divisions of the businesses but is more commonly known as “The Builder”.  Together with his wife, Judi Harris, they run the successful operations of these reputable and prominent businesses.

Advanced Homes, Inc. has worked diligently through their years in business to build a “Quality Without Compromise” reputation and is one of the most prestigious new home construction companies in the Lake Havasu City, Mohave County and the northern areas of the State.

This husband and wife team brings more expertise to your building or buying experience than others in this business.  Jim Harris is a builder who truly understands the construction industry having started his career more than 30 years ago in the trade side of the business continuing his training through a university level architectural degree program and later obtaining a degree in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University. 
Judi Harris joined the businesses in 1997 and in addition to her management responsibilities is the primary sales representative for new home construction and the general Real Estate business.  In addition to being a Realtor, Judi has graduated from the Realtor Institute with her GRI designation, she is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), is a Charter member of (WCR) Women’s Council of Realtors and thoroughly enjoys helping buyers with the purchase of new home construction, land for future development or that perfect existing home.
