| HavaMac Meeting Minutes for 6/10/08 The meeting was opened at 2:02 p.m. by Bobbie Batchelder, President Bobbie asked for the club Library CDs to be returned so others can use them. New visitors and members were introduced: Melinda Flynn and Joe and Louise Tagliavia. Tickets were passed out by Harry Tucker gave the Treasurer’s report Last month’s meeting was on using Pages Pam advised us that a new software update is out Bobbie showed some of the links that are on our website that has special discounts. Ernie has a new class starting in Sept at MCC for the iLife suite. Same class as last time. If you want a name tag, let Pam know. Bobbie showed the free table and raffle table. Next meeting is on July 8 Bobbie asked if anyone was not getting her e-mails to let her know. Harry held the raffle Last month Bobbie sent out a “cheat sheet” to be used for all the information on your server so if your settings get messed up, your can reset the server Ernie showed a video from Apple to help with Pages He then demonstrated how to change cassettes into a digital format using Garage Band or QuickTime Pro. After they are on your computer, you can put them on an audio CD Bobbie opened the meeting back up for basic questions The meeting was closed at 4 p.m. Shirley Coster, Secretary |
